The King ond Queen orc I-learts The King and Queen of Hearts are chosen each year by a popular vote among' the students and faculty. A member of any class may hold the honor and there is no rule as to the number of times that a person may win. This couple reigns over the festivities of the Annual Valentine Party which climaxes the Leap VVeelk activities. The queen this year was Miss Beth BonDurant of Mt. Rainier, Marylandg and the king was Herbert Sigafoose of Ellcton, Virginia. Votes were cast through the sale of war stamps and bondsg the number of votes depending upon the face value of the stamp of bond.
