The present paper was tirst published in 1923 and is a llve-column issue usually consisting of four pages. A few years ago the publication was honored by having the editorial page from one of its issues in the textbook, Practifczl School Jottrnalism by J. VVyant Rowe. Womens Student Government Council The WOmen's Student Government Council is composed of the Officers of the VVomen's Student Government Association. The President presides over the regular weekly meetings, and is in charge of the activities of the WSGA. The Vice-President, along with her other duties, is the House President. The Secre- tary keeps a record of all meetings and activities. The Senior Proctor is also the Treasurer, and is responsible for the Junior Council. , l YM-YWCA Cabinets Qlhcers of the YMCA and YVVCA compose the body known as the Y Cabinet. Joint meetings are held semi-monthly. The 1944 YM group was un- usually reduced, because of the scarcity of men, but their work was carried on in the same diligent manner. About the campus, the work of the Cabinet is easily apparent. Y Vespers on Sunday evenings, Chapel programs on Tuesday, banquets, receptions, parties, May Day and Convocation VVeelc are all sponsored by this group.
