DEDICATION You might think that teaching would be lust a ich. Mary Ellen Boyette proves otherwise. Twenty years ago, she came to Shenandoah as a mathematics teacher. Twenty-five hundred stu- dents later she is still one ofthe most progressive teachers at Shenandoah. She has taken extra courses in the new mathe- matics so that changes in education would not find her unprepared. For this kind of progressive dedication, we thank you, Mrs. Boyette, and hope that we are privileged to have you at Shenandoah for many more years. Florence Rimoldi is a warm, interesting, skillful, and well-traveled teacher. She knows how to capture the attention of her students and guide a discussion so that the students become engrossed. She doesn't limit herself to iust basic facts. Tales of her travels around the world are interspersed with lessons creating an interesting class. We represent eighteen years of Shenandoah students in expressing our gratitude and appreci- ation for the service you have rendered.

00K PRINUPAI, MR. Pl077'.S' This is a wonderful time to be young, to share the accomplishments of the past, to value the triumphs of the present, and to hold within one's hand the promise of an even greater future. Our Shenandoah girls and boys will realize that promise for they are ready to meet its demands. They know that progress - both of the individual and of the nation - does not just happen, it is made. It will be made by the students who are doing their best in their school work now, and who will stay in school long enough to be prepared for an ac- tive part in our complex modern world. The Three Cs of Shenandoah will help them conquer the Seven Seas, for students who continue to be guided by courtesy, culture, and courage are destined to become the humanitarian and enlightened citi- zens needed by our country and the world.
