Dean McKee has always shown a deep interest in the various activities of the high school and has encouraged, in every way possible, all worthwhile projects of the school. Mr. McKee was born in Crawfords- ville, Washington County, Iowa, and received his grade education there. He attended high school at Wintersetg college at Monmouth, Illinois where he received a B. A. degree, and later received his Master of Arts degree from the Univer- sity of Iowa. Mr. McKee has taught in rural schools, was principal of the Patterson, and Earlville, Iowa schools and of the Wever-Media Academy, Media, Illinois, and Brooklyn, Iowa, High School. Mr. Guernsey's first position was that of coach and assistant principal at Madrid, Iowa. The following year he served as principal and coach.
