group participation. The girls' 4-H club sponsors activities from flowers to baking. Each girl learns how to plant a garden, or sew a dress, or bake a cake, or embroidery a pillow, or the many other projects provided. For the boys, 4-H teaches them how to take care of their crops, livestock, perserve soil, or photograph a beautiful scene. Practical farm procedures prove to be valuable in later life for students. 105
