i With dying of voices, the Shenandoah Honor Soci- ety Inet formally for the last time May 2, 1968, in the cafetorium in honor of the Senior members. With the leaving of the old, and the coming of the new, the Honor Society still maintains its stan- dards of scholarship, character, leadership, and ser- vice. During the school year, the Honor Society conducted a Christmas toy collection for the chil- dren at the Knightstown Soldiers and Sailors Home. Three new members were inducted during the year, Seniors, Bruce Brattain, Les Peckin- paugh, and Jane Weidner. This year, the sponsor- ing organizations were: Henry County Savings and Loan, Bank of Henry County, Kennard Branch, and Union State Bank, at Sulphur Springs.
