They have sold concessions at every home high school ballgame this year. It was time consuming but they enjoyed every minute of it. To make additional money for the costs of the prom, they had dances after some of the basket- ball games. The Juniors also had a Newly-Wed game, in which many of the faculty and their mates participated The Juniors took their positions in many activi- ties this year. They are making themselves ready to take over next year when the seniors are gone. As apprentices they have learned many new tech- niques and they are confident that they will be able to fulfill their obligations. Juniors adore Hendey's bomb. The Freshman of this first year of high school had to make many adjustments. But they pulled through this year Without too many scars. They received their class jackets just in time to get a lot of use out of them. The jackets were a very nice shade of dark green. They sponsored a Valentine Dance. There were several nominations for queen and king from all of the classes . . . But the Freshrnen's own Roberta Cox and David Moore won. They also put on a little skit taken from the book West-Side Story. The Freshmen volunteered to act they were not drafted. They had a lot of fun during their prac- tices and when they acted for the whole school on May 7. The shop class brings out many hidden abilities. Every freshman takes interest in the Valen tine Dance. He did it! 83 Learning to dance can be fun. They soon learned that high school life is quite different from what they had been accustomed to. They learned very quickly and are now looking forward to the next four years. The eighth grade sponsored a dance for the school, just as all the other classes had. They even had a good ball season, too. Spelling cat is easier. I'rn beginning to feel a little damp. Scientists, for instance, are the kind of people who thrive on challenge. That's what leads them to science courses in school. And draws them into a lifetime of problem-solving in a scientific career. Take our scientists. They keep seeing a better way to design ignition systems-and they do it. They never stop looking for further improve- ments in our generators. Without their curiosity and appetite for challenge, we could never have designed our silver zinc batteries for missiles. And without students like you, we won't be able to meet the fantastic challenges of the future. So, if science interests you, dig in now. To- morrow not only needs you-it needs you to be good. Here at Delco-Remy, we're definitely a part of tomorrow. So weill be looking for you. Right after college. Delco -Rerny mmm or excsuzncc Division of General Motors I Anderson.
