The PRESIDENTS VVGRD 'ly dear Students , nBeing confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christn fPhilippians 1:65. This word of confident assurance is an admirably suited benediction for the life of every student upon the completion of his studies at Shenandoah Bible College. Learning is the experience of a lifetime and the few short years one spends upon the campus is, at best, merely a beginner's course in the knowledge and understanding of revealed truth. How precious to realize that the same One who harvests the matured crop initiates the growth by a purposeful planting. In the words of another, WThe quickening minis- tries of the spring are Hisg His also are the ripening ministries of the autumn.u He artfully cultivates the growing plant until it comes to its perfect harvest stand and He is able to say, NI have finished the work which Thou gavest Me to do.n We make no pretense to Shenandoah as a Hfinishing schooln. In fact, it is rather a Hbeginning schooln in which the Lord of life and learning sows the eternal varities in the soil of young and eager lives and then, beyond the days of this springtime planting, masterfully nurtures the organism until it reaches the stage of peak ripeness in the falltime of life. The process is really altogether His from the beginning to the end, thereby assuring a perfect development. How wonderful that Shenandoah Bible College should be chosen to serve as the hotbed for the seedling of His planting! For the seniors, we pray for an unhindered perfecting of His Ngood workn in your lives in the days ahead. For every aspiring senior, we long that the learning experience remaining may be indeed His ngood workn in you in its glorious beginning. fectionately, James Comstock President
