They act as a liaison between the ship's crew and the Chaplain. Together theteam resides in the People Place. During Med 2-93 the Chaplain's Office sponsored many community service projects. Through the ChapIain's support, SHENANDOAH sailors got out into the community to lend a helping hand. During the 1993 Mediterranean cruise the PC's received over 80.000 lbs. of mail, and dispatched over 72,000 lbs. In addition the crew of the post oftice sold money orders. Parcels were accepted tor mailing and thousands ol stamps were sold.
