The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration shop worked diligently to maintain cooler temps while tending ships in the extreme heat ofthe United Arab Emirates. This reduced the crews chances ot heat stress related problems.

Main space fire drills were a regular routine during ship's transit to Bermuda to pick-up another inspection team. The OPPE Operation Propulsion Plant Examining Team boarded for two days of grueling drills.
