Forty days ha d passed since we were last in Naples. Our heavy work load and lack of liberty in Augusta Bay left us emotionally and physically drained. Anticipating warmer weather, as familiar port and reduced international tensions! we looked forward to arriving in Naples. l-low wrong we were though. The weather in Naples turned out to be as bad as we remembered from our last visit. And no sooner had we moored, with our stern to the pier, than we heard rumors of us leaving and retuming to Augusta Bay. t i Wasting no time, crew members spent the next day and a half in their pursuit of liberty.
