ROTA I On January 21 st, we pulled alongside The pier at Naval Station, Rota, Spain. Prior to assuming our duties in The Mediterranean, we had the opportunity To Tour Seville fcity where Columbus sailed from and where his remains are located J, Cadiz, Ronda, and Jerez Cthe sherry capital of the worldj. As the Time for relieving USS YELLOVVSTONE drew closer, SHENANDOAT-l's crew made ready to receive the baton as the oth Fleet Tender. We began to wonder what might be in store for us when YELLOVVSTONE arrived in Rota on January 25th, displaying a banner asking, HOW DO YOU SPELL RELIEFTP. . .SHENANDOAI-l.
