Executive Officer CDR HARRY RISCH, JR., USN CDR RISCH entered the Naval Service in April 1943 as a Naval Aviation Cadet. After receiving his designation as a Naval Aviator and commission of ENSIGN, USNR, he was assigned to various air squadrons on the West coast for operational train- ing. This was followed by a tour with a heavy patrol squadron flying between Okinawa, Guam and Hawaii. Other aviation duties have included those of an instructor at Corpus Christi, Texas, and a helicopter pilot on ships of the Atlantic Fleet. From January 1954 to January 1956, he was fire control officer on the USS WORCHESTER CCL-1445, followed by a two year tour aboard the USS ROBERT A. OWENS CDDE-8275 as Executive Officer. Two years prior to assuming the duties as Executive Officer aboard USS SHENANDOAH QAD-265, he was a CIC Instructor at Dam Neck, Virginia. CDR RISCH is married to the former Dorothy M. Meyer of Joliet, Illinois. He currently resides in London Bridge, Vir- ginia with his wife and their two children, Lance Christian and Kelli Ann. 'L
