President jim Biehl Vice-President Sherry Jeffery Thoughts, Hopes, Challenges, Goals The three years of learning, development and enjoyment are closed with thoughts of bigger goals and new challenges. With twelve years of study to guide them, the graduating Seniors will step into life on their own and try to meet these goals and challenges. The class of '67 upon entering Shelton High School in 1964 elected Tom Villines President, Candy Nutt Secretary and Dick Knautz Board of Control Representative. Then Sophomores, it didnit take them long to find their section ofthe gym or their section of the audi- torium for assemblies. joining into the school activities and participating in sports, the class of 767 found themselves in their Junior year. For a successful year as juniors they chose their President Dick Knautz, Vice President Mike Carper, Secretary Patty Mell, and Bill Mendenhall as Honor- ary-Sergeant-at-Arms. With only a year ahead ofthem until graduation 238 students stepped into their Senior year at SHS. Jim Biehl President, Sherry Jeffery Vice President, and Secretary Beth Crumb led them through a successful and memorable year. The Seniors being very enthusias- tic about their last year at Shelton High School participated in many activities and helped heighten the school spirit. Among their various activities were The Senior Ball and the Senior Party. With the class motto: HDependence has clouded our past, independ- ence lights our futurefl the class of ,67 entered into the Shelton High School gym on the night ofjune 6th with many thoughts of the past and for the future.
