Geography class was our favorite, because our ., teacher taught ue the first ten numbers in Norwegian and made flatbread' which we got to sample and, boy, wee it good!! - In fifth grade we lost Donnie Eleon, Garth Wier, and David Davis. Our class was now made up of thirteen boys and two girls. Donna Nieland, Joan Dickson and Allen Shahen were the new ounlls ln elvth grade. However, at the end of the year, Joan and Allen, along with Billie Hint, left ue. X Shirley Anderson, Evelyn Crow, and Donna Nieland well remember f eeventh prede, for they were caught writing notes and eeoh had to be j lontod in Q eeoernte room each noon for a week. I ln eirhtn grade we experienced our first class trio, when we went to Vinton and toured the School for the Blind. Nevada Rothfuae joined our vleee from La Porte City. L . ll In our freshman year we gained Frank Hall, but he soon left ue 4 before the year was over. Edith Coy decided she had enouyn educutlonj did left ue.
