f?JJ,4 The Shell 'Lake Chapter of the Future Home- makers of America was organized on 'November 5, 1948 with an enrollment of 29 members. The follow- ing officers were elected: president-Nancy Rydberg, Vice Pres.---Nola Ireland, secretary+EIvera Johnson, Treasurer- Olive Swan. The new members were init- iated at a candlelight ceremony followed by a dinner in the Home Ec. rooms. A midyear party was held with the F.F,A. boys. Plans have been made to visit'Betty Crocker kitchens in the spring. As the Future Home- makers of America each 'member is eager to have this organization become the most successful Shell La-ke has ever known.
