f I Newly elected student body officers Linda Bussell, jerry Kudelko, lim Fryback, Steve Meyn, Ed Ruiz, and Karen Duncan pose on the plaza steps. Throughout the week of April 24 through 28, can- didates for ASB offices decorated the halls with colorful posters and the students with tags of all sizes and shapes. On Tuesday, candidates gave impromptu speeches on the subject of apathy in Student Council. Stu- dent manager and presidential candidates were sub- jected to a question and answer period after their speeches. Students in the audience addressed ques- tions pertaining to the offices and their relating activities. Friday, the Rally try-out assembly began Election Day. At noon, students voted for Rally and ASB officers on Votomatie machines. Ballots were processed by a eomputor at the Lane County Court- house. The candidates for officers of the 1967-68 school year were: President: Jerry Kudelko and lim Mon- seyg Vice-President: Iim Fryback and Rudy Dam: Secretary: Karen Duncan and Shelley Smith: Treasurer: Steve Nfeyn and Ken Beeson: Historian: Linda Busself and Sherry Sahlstrom: Student Man- ager: Ed Ruiz and Judy Long.
