Membership was based on a 3.4 G.P.A. for seniors and a 3.5 G.P.A. for juniors, leadership, charac- ter, and service to the school. The big social event of the year was the annual post- Christmas, pre-New Year party, complete with refreshments and the Twister game. On April 14, fourteen members attended the National Honor Society state convention at Willamette University, where the featured speaker was Governor Tom McCall. Other club activities included main- taining the Honor Roll plaque and sponsoring a math tutoring program.
