The week's theme was Crazy Daisy Days. The week began with Petunia Print Dayw on which students were encouraged to wear print dresses and shirts. The crowning point of Tuesday, Bachelor Button Day, was a slave auction in which buttons and money purchased Mr. Flynn, Mr. Diddock, Mr. Brown- ing, and Paul Murphy. On Wednesday, Tulip Twirp Day, stu- dents became teachers. The climax of the week was Friday, Pantsy Day. During an ex- tended lunch period, a live band entertained, and faculty-student and interclass tug-of-wars were held. Senior girls let off steam on one of spring's first days. 73
