The new S500 elec- tric typewriter, of course. The ma- chine was purchased when the Iournalism Department decided to type and print their own paper. This job included laying it out and processing the pictures in the school darkroom. Seven of the staff, Steve Cornac- chia, Elaine Eloranta, Kandy Wenke, Sonya Lindly, Karen Duncan, Carol Plummer, and Sandi Wells, became members of the Quill and Scroll, an honorary journalism organization.
