Girls' Choir joined with girls from South Eugene ake part in the Christmas Concert. Later in the ol year they provided a vocal interval during the ng Band Concert. mid-winter three Girls, Choir members and three appella Choir members joined forces to compete in a onal contest, a preliminary event to the All North- t Choir. 19 was the date of the big Spring Concert, the ir's final performance. The band marches at the University of Oregon-Idaho game. h6l.CCH'S mll I Tramp, tramp, tramp . . . The advanced hand marched throug many a football halftime, including a special performance at tk University of Oregon. When winter came, the hand moved inside for the Christmas C017 cert and two exchange concerts with Centennial High School froz Gresham. Select members of the band and orchestra also plays for Sheldon's production of 1100 in the Shade. In Iune, the band went to Portland to march in the Merrykhan Parade, their last performance of the year. The stage band added music to many of Sheldonls activities, in cluding the talent show and Christmas assembly. They also gav public performances for the Lions Club and at various dances. Wherever they went they brought the sound of music, first t Sheldon and then to the whole community. The A'Cappella Choi performed in several concerts, including two with Centennial Higi School. 3 In mid-December they joined the choirs from North Eugene, Soutf Eugene, and Churchill high schools for a performance of the Mes siah at MacArthur Court. Later that month they appeared o KVAL-TV. In April, the choir made their traditional trek to Salem for thl Iester Hairston Festival.
