Salma! ,virif is Being Ulm' School spirit is being there, not in spirit alone but in body, lungs expanded and alive, yelling Break the axe, the axen or block that punt or some such thing. The football and basketball boys didn't know if they would win or lose - but they knew - win or lose - the Pep Club would be there doing their part. The fall and spring sports banquet were sponsored by the Pep Club members. Something new was added to the Pep Clubas traditional yelling - a drill team. During half-time the drill team march- ed into the figure of Sheldon's HS . The leaders of this club were Lynn Stuart, Presidentg Leslie Frager, Vice- presidentg Lynda Gaskill, Secretary 5 and Carolyn Moon, Treasurer. Leslie Frager and Lynn Stuart. Ieftermen Serve Formed mainly as a service organization, the Lettermen's Club assisted, sponsored, and helped plan various school activities. They assisted at a pep assembly by forming an Honor Guard, and at the games by selling programs. The sopho- more and junior members helped at graduation by park- ing cars and directing traffic. The club sponsored the donkey basketball game and the Western Spring Dance. Bottoms up at the donkey basketball game. Wrestlers Brian Doran, most improvedg Vern Hall, most valu- able, and Tim McKibben, most inspirational, receive honors at the Winter Sports Banquet. Lettermen honor their own.
