Salma! ,virif is Being Ulm' School spirit is being there, not in spirit alone but in body, lungs expanded and alive, yelling Break the axe, the axen or block that punt or some such thing. The football and basketball boys didn't know if they would win or lose - but they knew - win or lose - the Pep Club would be there doing their part. The fall and spring sports banquet were sponsored by the Pep Club members. Something new was added to the Pep Clubas traditional yelling - a drill team. During half-time the drill team march- ed into the figure of Sheldon's HS . The leaders of this club were Lynn Stuart, Presidentg Leslie Frager, Vice- presidentg Lynda Gaskill, Secretary 5 and Carolyn Moon, Treasurer. Leslie Frager and Lynn Stuart. Hvlleens Display Irish Kluzrm Colleens pose prettily. The inspiring inspiration of the Irish Colleens added sparkling entertainment dur- ing half-times and pep assem- blies. Under the supervision of Mrs. Horton and presi- dents Jane Dahle and Susan Weatherly, the Colleens cre- ated dance routines to such records as Irish Washer: woman , On the Rebound and The Stripper.
