The Guysu. . .entertain? The Mother-Daughter Tea, sponsored by Sheldon's Girls' League, began Spring Week. Carrying out the color theme for the tea, girls modeled orange and yellow dresses. Girls with big bows and boys wearing broad ties against T- shirts made Tuesday a colorful day. On Wednesday, the sen- ior znen challenged the juniors and the sophomores in a tug of war at noon. Tennis shoes were worn for the event. Thurs- day was print and plaid day. At noon, a bubble gum blowing contest was held. On Friday, students and teachers donned bermudas. Mr. Diddoek's lace garter attracted garter faneiers. Friday night the lettermen sponsored a western dance. The Guys provided the entertainment. Stuart Funke and Annette Sehome in a western-style war dance. Senior men win the tug of war and prove they are the best, as usual.

The ingenuity and artistic talents of the various candidates. . For one week in April, the halls of Sheldon High exploded with self-advertisements, as candidates for student body office competed for the favor of the Sheldon voters. HDope pills, posters, signs, badges, pins, painted trucks and golf carts made the week exciting. ,4 Week of Szyns . .covered the halls. Seniors Nancy Francis, Shirley Miller, Leslie Frager, and Larry Walker puzzle with a Stick with Purdyw campaign gadget. An efficient election committee at work.
