Casino Internationale allowed many of Shel- donls students to perform before an audience. Calvin Best, Sheldon's foreign exchange student, gave a short talk and did a native dance. The other acts ranged from classical music to jazz, from hillbilly to Handel's Messiahl', and from interpre- tive dancing to a traditional polka in a German Hofbrauhaus',. Varsity Rally? Ghayska Dancers swinging to '16 Tonsa. KAPOW! Tijuana Brass during one of their quieter moments.

Che Alums Kcfuru to Sheldan Greg Flynn MC's the Senior Visitation. A group of laughing, shouting, handshaking graduates met each other in the cafeteria during the alumni visitations. The visiting graduates spent a hectic day talking about col- leges and jobs and visiting former teachers and classmates. The illustrious seniors and faculty entertained the alumni with a Christmas skit, and everyone joined in singing Christmas carols. Cookies and punch were served, and wonder of wonders, the teachers' lounge was open to peo- ple under twenty-one. Alumnus, Steve Burkhart, talks to former classmates. A typical sight.

little Cheefer Series Che Z7e1heers 'Whders Keepers Che Sehdheif' Che lottery J-lelle Ou! Chere f'Che llgly Duckling The Dancers, directed by Kenneth Payne, involves a teenage boy whose sister has arranged a date for him with a popular girl. He is unsure of himself and doesn't want to go, and the girl in turn refuses to go with him. The boy then meets another girl, equally unsure of herself, and makes a date with her for the dance. John Pierce and Shelly Smith played the principle roles. Finders Keepers, directed by Richard Doering, is the story of a lost fortune. A woman loses 3400, her neighbor finds it, and the husband and wife' argue whether the money should be kept or returned. Marg- ret Claasen, Kris Balle, and Mike Koza played the principle roles. The Sandbox, directed by senior Tom Burrell, is an absurdist play about an old woman who sits in the sand and waits to die. The Sandbox marked the first time a student had been in complete charge of direction. Ellen Brownhill, Ginger Nelson, Bill Stater, Dan Read, Tom Evans, and Dennis Gory played the principle roles. The Lottery, directed by Pat Gibson, is a suspenseful tale of superstition. The people of a small farm town believe that lottery in June, corn'll be heavy soon. The cast was composed of members from the drama class. Pete Anderson, Stephanie Ladd, Greg Flynn, Ted Hicks, Sandy Cole, and Kay Erskine played the principle roles. Hello Out There, directed by Jerry Keuter, is the story of a falsely accused young man who, while in jail, falls in love with a lonely, desperate girl, There are a few moments of happiness in both their lives and then the young man is killed. Julie Keith, John McFee, Karen Johnson, and Ken White played the principle roles. The Ugly Duckling, directed by Richard Doering, involves a princess who is doomed to homeliness un- til her one true love tells her that she is pretty. Sev- eral other princes decline to marry her, and her par- ents fear that the next prince will make the same decision. By chance, the prince is also homely, and when both Ugly Ducklings' meet, they fall in love. Kenneth Payne, Margaret Orr, Judi Thomas, Pat Mallory, Ed Morrisy, Vikki Cooley, and Geary Trip- lett played the principle roles. Nancy Allen lends a helping hand to Shelley Smith.
