ook ,Ahead Bob Davidson Treasurer With glowing hearts we remember thee Wherever we may be Three years seems a long time, but to the Class of '66 it was here and gone too quickly. The Class of '66 claims the distinction of being the first class to complete three years at Sheldon High School. They began in the fall under the leadership of Jim Richardson, President, Neil Lathen, Vice President, Suzie Seligman, Secretary, and Bob Davidson, Treasurer, to plan for their last year at Sheldon. Looking forward to grad- uation in the spring, committees were organized to plan the Senior Break- fast and Senior Assembly. Other committees planned Baccalaureate and Commencement. As a result of class discussions, dark and light blue were chosen as class colors and the carnation was chosen as the class flower. The Road Not Taken, a poem set to music, was selected as the class song. Working together to win the canned food drive, to sponsor a rally dance, to put on the annual Senior Dessert, and to have graduation pictures taken occupied a good deal of the seniors, time. In keeping with tradition, the seniors presented the school with a gift, the Sheldon crest done in bronze. Twelve years of education and the memories of high school still remained after graduation in the spring. Among the memories were all the accom- plishments and activities of the sophomore and junior years, but the senior year was the most memorable of all.
