I hear that yummy model Marlyn Kuiper posed for him The rest of the class, it seems, has been dlstributed among a wide variety of occupations ditch diggers, undertakers, florists, Janitors merchants, aviators, insurance men, lawyers, doctors, legislators,bank clerks and school teachers' Senior Class History The school career of the Class of l9A9 began back in 1936 About half of the starting class was not old enough in September, so they had to wait until January to begin school In kindergarten, we did the nor mal things we curled upon rugs for our mid morning or mid afternoon naps We colored, learned to count, learned to write our names and to distin guish colors We had regular sessions of music There were always the naughty few who would rather sit behind the piano than in front of it These disobedient children were quickly sent either to the girls' dkak room or out to the hall How well we can remember the day Miss Baudler let us try the first grade seats for size After sitting like civilized people in seats, it was rather difficult to fold our feet and sit on the floor again Then came the sad day of diptheria shots We were no longer 'big people' we had become a crowd of little five and six year olds that did notljke to have a stranger poke us in the arm with a needle In the first grade we furthered our education with the guidance of Miss Pearson and Miss Helen Was it in first grade that Peg Adkins took Joe Brower down and sat on him9 n l , .
