These Seniors Earned the Hi hes! Honor Those seniors who are elected to the National Honor Society might be called the elite of their class. Membership in this organization is one of the highest honors which can come to a student, be- cause it represents the achievement of four years of scholastic work coupled with personal qualifi- cations. The top 25 per cent of the class is eligible for membership, and from this group the faculty selects 15 per cent of the class to be honored. Membership is determined by citizenship, character, and leader- ship, besides scholastic ability. New members were initiated at a banquet giv- en by the alumni members of the society on April 15. Both new members and their parents were guests of the alumni. The Reverend B. ll. Benner of the VVest Street Methodist Church delivered the address and Mr. Sharp presented the newly initiat- ed seniors with their pins,
