Ray Lawson, Sue liunnebolun and Mike Brogang Sue-Arlen Denison and Bill Shaner: Were Elected to the prin Court These seven senior girls-the best liked in their class-made up the 36th annual Spring Court, along with their escorts. Members of the Court are elected by the senior class. and the Queen is chosen by vote of the en- tire student body. No one knows who she is until the 'tbigu night. Anna Bowers has served very capably this year as president of the Home Economics Club: she is also an office worker. Ray Lawson, who was her escort. transferred here from VValdron last year. He is a member of Hi-Y and S-Club. Small, dark-haired Sue Arlen Denison is presi- dent of Senior Sunshine, vice-president of Future Teachers, and a two-year member of Student Council. She was escorted by Bill Shaner, her steady. who is a Hi-Y member. Rose Ann Knoebel is a member of the Sing- ing Stars and the Squib staff. Rose was escorted by Harold Hickman, president of the Senior Class and a member of Student Council and its Executive Committee. Marty Kuhn was a member of the junior Prom Court last year: she is also one of the few students to have the honor of being elected to Student Coun- cil all four years. Since she drew the bye, her es- cort was Charles Kysar, who became Lord Mayor because he had the highest four-year scholastic average of any senior boy. The second Rose on the Court is Rose Lin- ville. She was last years junior Prom Queen and is a member of Future Nurses. Hoses escort was -lon Osborne, who can always be found in some sort of athletic uniform. jon plays football, basket- ball, and track, he is also a member of Hi-Y. Sue Runnebohm is seeretary-treasurer of the senior class and participates in Future Nurses. She also works in the office. Her escort was Mike Brogan, vice-president of the Senior Class, co-cap- tain of the football team, and a Hi-Y and S-Club member. Booster Club president judy Wagner was also a member of last yearls Prom Court. She was elected to represent SHS as a candidate for DAR Cood Citizen. Dan Thurston escorted her at the Festivalg he is very active in sports and won the Paul Cross Award this year. He is a member of NASS, S-Club, and Hi-Y.
