0ur lasses Aren't Humdrum A routine day in Shelbyville High School to some people would seem a somewhat boring adventure, but to us, the students, it is our life, our activity, and above all, our school. The regularity of each class is sometimes broken by invitations from local businessmen to see their particular organization in action, such as one of our commerce classes taking in the procedure of a banking day, which included a demonstration by an employee of the bank. uAud a good time was had by all. 4

To the audience the Wooden char- acters were life-like as they moved and talked on the Stage. Hi-Y lf you attend the basketball games, you probably check your hat and coat at the Hi-Y check- ing service. This is the chief rnoney making project of the Hi-Y club. After donating to de- serving charities the club uses its money for parties, dinners, and benefits for the school. Wlith the aid of their sponsor, Mr. Bass, the organization con- ducts very impressive Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter serv- ices for the students.
