LA AND MEMBERS OF THE CREW . . . The chorus missed MR. NQRMAN when he went to Monticello. MR. CRElGl-TTON came down from North- western to take over. You'll find him pictured on page forty-one. Times haven't changed much. MISS SHUCICS still braving blank faces in language classes. And BATTERSHELL, our class sponsor, is really plowing into his agri- culture bunch. So is MR. EEGLEY, teaching his shop boys. l've heard he's hunting a job running a movie projector in some theatre. Our new typing teacher is MlSS STETNKE. Peppy? Wowl She shares honors with MISS McEWEN who courageously shoulders the Snooper as well as the typing mob. MR. NEWELL still waves a mean baton at the band. MlSS WRIGHT whooped up some grand dramatic TEST CDN THE FACULTY features this year, putting life into clods. MlSS DEAN has been using her dra- matic ability making social and Ameri- can history classes pay attention. Who's doin' the office work? Trusty MlSS MOSEQ we'd be lost without her. All unexpectedly we lost MR. LASH- BROCK. We hated to see him go. CSo did MlSS STElNKE.D His successor, MR. BATCHELDER, is plainly just the an- swer to a maidens prayer. Too bad we couldn't get his picture in this year. MlSS CRUSE took the clothing and foods classes under her thumb. She's swell! And you might know, MR. GREENLEE is still at it with his reptiles, lovely things! MlSS CORLEY is teach- ing art as well as English. We get a little of both in each class. Now for our confidential masterpiece. MR. The school board election is now over, the booths have been hauled away, and everything has settled com- fortably back in place. ln the election, Mr. Dove handed his presidential duties over to Mr. Younger, and Mrs. Sioesard was considered too competent to lose, so she is still the secretary. The board still is behind all school activity and during the year has done many grand things for the benetit ot all oi us. We decided to include this view ot Shelbyville from the air, because it shows in pictures how the board repre- sents the community in furthering the schools interests.
