Student Council The Student Council, under the leadership of DiAnn Ferguson, made this school year more enjoy- able. Their first project was Horne- corning, entitled The Roaring '2U's. At Christmas, the annual dance was engineered by the council. One school day, Saturday, students were allowed to wear grubbies. The student body elected Bob lensen to be their 1969-70 Student Council President. National Honor Society This year the NHS gave a program tor Thanksgiving depicting the crossing of the Mayflower. This group also served as ushers for the open house and as guides at the Teachers Reception. In May new members were inducted at a special ceremony.
