Mixed Chorus The 1967-B8 school year proved to be very successful for the Mixed Chorus and Girls' Glee. Miss Perry and the groups worked especially hard this year and it was well worth the effort. At the Large Group Contest at Sidney, the Mixed Chorus received a superior rating as did the Girls' Glee, shown on the next page. Both groups also took part in the Tri-County Music Festival at Underwood and per- formed at Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, Baccalaureate, and Commencement. Shown below is Madrigal and Boys Double Quartet. Madrigal received a superior rating and Boys Double received an excellent rating. Concert Bond Under the direction of Mr. C. A. Bragg, the band received a superior rating at Sidney, Where this year's Large Group Contest was held. The band also presented a Christmas Concert, a Spring Concert along with participation in the Tri-County Band Festival. Saxophone Quartet received a I rating at small group contest at Walnut this year: Paula Messerschmidt, Peggy Ehlers, Lorrie Anderson, Becky Buck, Iean Volkens, Donna Ehlers.
