WARD I-IOLDSWORTH Dedication You, Mr. Whitac1'e, assumed the task of getting us going in a brand new senior high school. To plan, to organize and to direct operations of a new building was only one phase of your service to Shelby City Schools. We recall that you also have been a teacher, and that you have served as principal of Auburn and Central Elementary Schools. You, Mr. I-Ioldsworth, for the past five years have been an instructor in biology and a coach in football and track, and have given valuable instruction both in and outside the classroom. In appreciation of your ability, your assistance and your guidance and direc- tion, the staff is pleased to dedicate the 1966 Scarlet S to you two men.
