The Yearbook of any school should present the happenings of the year in picture and word. One of the best themes for this type of book would be a PARADE OF EVENTS as they occur during the nine months of school. Beginning with athletic events of last spring l l 958l the staff has continued the chain of events with the fall of the new school year of 1958 and running on through the tirst five months of 1959. The Staff has selected those events which made this year at Shelby High exciting, mem- orable, and outstanding. They trust that the read- ers - whether they be students, teachers, or friends of Shelby High - will enjoy the PARADE OF EVENTS, that they will serve to recall pleasant associations of the time, and that they will pre- serve tor history the school life of this year.
