The PTA of Shelby High School is an active organization which meets once a month throughout the school year. The membership is composed of parents and teachers of the school. Special entertainments are planned by the group for the students and also for the school band . In the spring of the year an excellent schools. dinner is served to the band members by the PTA in appreciation of the fine work done during the year. The officers of the Shelby High PTA this year urged the parents to go to the voting places in November and support the bond issue for an additional elementary school and for the new gymnasium to be built at Central School.
