AN EXCITING SENIOR TRIP April 8. 1987 was the start of our Senior Educa- tional tour to Kansas City. Our tours included the General Motors factory, the Hallmark Visitors’ Cen- ter. Kansas City Board of Trade, the Federal Re- serve Bank, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Schools of Dentistry and of Medicine. We also attended a Kansas City Royals-Chicago White Sox baseball game, and enjoyed a delicious meal at the Gold Buffet. Our Senior Trip was filled with many memories that we will always treasure.

Instead of going to school in the morning or afternoon, this year's Kindergarteners go to school every other day. One week they go on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and the next week they go on Tuesday and Thursday. “Because of this new system the children get to do more extra activi- ties,” says Mrs. Ott. They have music, art, and P.E. everyday. They also get a half hour rest period.” The children like riding the big yellow school buses and eating lunch at school. One little boy said, I wish I could come to school every day!” Since the children are going to school all day this year it will be easier for them to adapt to first grade, although, then they will get to go to school everyday instead of every other day.
