Our fall royalty Twins Day marked the beginning of the traditional Homecom- ing Spirit Week. Tuesday brought around Nerds Day followed by Whisper Day, Black and Gold Day, and Sweats Day on Friday. On Tuesday the girls volleyball team beat Genoa. On Thursday they beat St. Edward 15-9 and 15-13. Friday marked the big day. Everyone was busy all morning getting ready for the parade which started at 1:30 p.m. This year's theme was movies . Convoy was the name of the fourth graders' float which took first place in elementary. Grade eight won first in the Junior High Division. Their float was Rocky . The Juniors' float won the High School division with the Royalty Float, 'The Wizard of Oz. The football game was next on the agenda. The boys played East Butler and won 52-6. Coronation followed the football game in the gym. There the 1985 queen and king were crowned. Cindy Kubicek was named queen and Todd Hiemer King. Music was by Ray Moore from K-TTT at the dance which followed the coronation.
