HUSKY 1984 BRINGING OUT OUR BEST SHELBY PUBLIC SCHOOLS The Husky '84 annual theme took a while to choose, but once the year got rolling there was no question in our minds that Bringing Out Our Best would be a very appropriate theme. Throughout the school there is always somebody, some- where, somehow, and at sometime Bringing Out Our Best. Whether it be our teachers or coaches, the custodians, bus drivers, lunch program personnel, secretaries, or administra- tion; they are all preparing us for our future, making us run extra laps, keeping our school sanitary, getting us to school on time, keeping our stomaches from growling, giving us mes- sages, and keeping everything under control. The students are busy working at their best for good grades, scholarships, and making parents proud. They are also work- ing together in sports, band, vocal music, and other activities to be number one and keep the Shelby tradition at its BEST. As you turn through the pages of this yearbook we hope you find yourself and your friends Bringing Out Your Best dur- ing the '84 year. We hope it helps you recall memories that can be brought back out forever and ever.
