Winning Season The Huskies opened the season with a win over the Genoa Orioles. However, the next three games provided tough competition and the Huskies were unable to capture a victory. The three losses were to Henderson, Stromsburg, and Howells respectively. Then the tide turned and the Huskies proved to be victorious over Osceola, Fullerton, and Dorchester. This now made the season a 4-3 record and the Huskies now looked to a possible winning season. The Huskies next game was a hard fought battle against Humphrey St. Francis, but despite the efforts the record fell to 4-4. The Huskies final game was with Bassett, who was defeated which gave the Huskies a winning season with a 5-4 record. Darin Moon making a tackle. Husky defense making a stop. Who’s going to get it?
