Shelby 1974-1975 Husky I Remember The carefree days of child, the growing pains are in the past And with these thoughts, the memories will forever last. Moments as we live them, in which happier from day to day We remember all the excitement, little things we do or say As the time moves, flies by and faster to the end The future is beginning to come more happenings begin We look back remember, the mistakes we regret So many tears of the things we'll never forget. Farewell to all, with our lives starting a new kind With leaving all our friends, in our hearts on our minds. Administration SCHOOL BOARD Standing: Curtis Ingalls, Donald Alt. Flashes of the past are projected to the present in our minds. Lit- tle things such as Blah Monday, the 3:25 bell, lunch, and Fridays are well remembered. Then again there were the daily routines such as the crowded halls, classroom lectures, daily assignments, looking at the same people every day, and study halls. As a group we've been through a lot over the past years. We've omitted so much, our personal joys and triumphs, sharing ideas, being with friends, the feeling of disappointment when a friend lets us down, a joke we heard in class, laughable incidents, sorrowful occasions. We can't relive them, our future lies in front of us. Yet this year will remain in the back of our memories, to be taken out at different times, laughed or cried at and discussed. Then it will be put back to sit over the years until future use. To look back upon the friends and re- memberances that were left behind, but not to be forgotten—those memories will never die. The class left on their journey at 1:00 a.m. after the prom. We rode our chartered bus all night arriving at Kalfran Lodge at about 11:00 Sun- day. With a great loss of sleep we checked into our rooms and began to relax. We had much to do: swim, sleep, go for an airplane ride, go paddle boating, ca- noeing, horse back riding, or sun bathe. Sunday evening some of the class went to Fun City while others went to a dance on a fairy boat. Monday the class went shopping in the morning, and relaxed once again in the afternoon. Monday evening after enjoying the Ozark Opry the class went to a dance at Kalfran Lodge until lights out ... but that wasn't it for some of the seniors. The more daring of them went Moon barking and were caught by the guard. These sneaks made the senior sneak trip of 75 a real sneaky trip. Everyone had a good time. The trip was one not to be forgotten. b4 They've got legs! ladies of leisure Faster! Faster! 1975 S.H.S.
