Text from Pages 1 - 72 of the 1974 volume:

Dedication When I Must Leave You When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years, But start out bravely with a gallant smile; and for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty days. But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and cheer and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; and never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky! Helen Steiner Rice Ron Vrbka We would like to dedicate our annual as an everlasting remembrance and memorial to Ron Vrbka and Kevin Kosch. These boys passed away before they could graduate with the class of 1974. Kevin was tragically killed in a tractor accident in 1968. Ron died from an automobile accident in 1973. Both boys have been greatly missed and will never be forgotten. The band performed at the Christmas program and gave a concert in Feb- ruary. The band then went to York for the an- nual CRC Band Clinic in March. Shelby had seven first chairs at the clinic.
