Advisor: Mr. Alvin Jambor 36 39 4th prize-Freshmen Friday evening, October 20, concluded two days of Homecoming festivities with the crowning of the 1967 Homecoming Royalty in the Snelby High School gymnasium. The master of ceremonies for that evening was Mick Matousek. Connie Hiemer and Craig Buchholz, this years royalty, were crowned By Bob Treadway and Candy Taddiken, the 1966 King and Queen. Homecoming attendants were 1st runners up Tom Krumbach and Kay Abbott, 2nd runners up Kevin Abbott and Sandi Wy- man. Connie received a bracelet from S Club representative, Jim Krumbach. Craig was presented an ID bracelet from the Pep Club representative, Connie Gondringer. Bonfire rally the night before, and a parade on Friday afternoon added to the celebration. At the end of the season the Huskies were ten wins and no losses. The record resulted after much hard work by seniors and underclassmen as well. Coach O'Brien, in his third year at the Shelby helm, did a fine job in moulding the team into one co- ordinated unit. The team was rewarded with the Crossroads Conference title and with a state-rating of second in the World Herald for eight- man football. There were 17 letterman of which six will return tor next years squad.
