Football The Fighting Spirit The Huskies this year had the most success- ful team that Shelby had since 19U . The Bus- ies had the finest spirit, ability, and will to win this year that Shelby had for a long time. Shelby Huskies ended up with five wins two loses and one tie game. The Huskies placed second in the Little Six Conference. Shelby was rated 16 out of 120 six-man teams in the state. The second team which played one game only this season won 20-12. 8

Chorus The Mixed Chorus went Christmas Caroling on December 21. The Chorus was featured in an April choral concert. The group was also represented at the District Contest in April. Glee Club The Girls Glee Club had a set- back in its practice schedule at the beginning of the basketball season; however, the English build- ing was soon made available for its use.
