The Senior Band participated in the Corn Day celebration and the Harvest of Harmcny parade .Shelby was host to a band clinic for several neighboring school bands on February 16. The Annual Spring Concert was given March 17, and a pre- contest concert was given April 7. Sev- eral band selections were entered in the District Contest April 12-13-li;. The Junior Band is composed of 28 members who began playing in the pep band,small ensembles and in solo work. Besides planning the Christmas decorations for the school and putting them up,they have approved all high school parties. Each year the organization plans and sponsors a school party. Chorus The Mixed Chorus went Christmas Caroling on December 21. The Chorus was featured in an April choral concert. The group was also represented at the District Contest in April.
