CHORAL ROBES APPRECIATED Both girls and boys showed an interest in vocal music this past year. With a mixed cho- rus, Junior chorus, and girls glee club to choose from, every interested student found the proner grouptovhich to belong. The mixed chorus and the girls glee club contributed several selections to the con- cert at Christmas time. Groups have sung between acts at class plays, and have entertained civic groups. Mr. Vander Hamm, the direc- tor, comments that all groups have progressed very well this year and a large number of stu- dents have shown their desire to do solo work. The PTA saw the need for new robes for the vocal groups so in the spring of 195C they purchased 20 robes in maroon with white collars. 21
