Crowning the Queen Homecoming Yes, she’s our queen. During the half time ceremony of the game, Shelby vs. Dwight Assumption, Beverly Rosenberry was crowned Grid Queen for the 1953 football season. Her attendents were JoAnn Jostes and Betty Lees. Jerome Reisdorff placed the shining, silvery crown upon her head while Dwayne Harms presented her with a bright gold expansion bracelet with her name and title engraved on it. The results of the float com- petition gave 1st place to the S-Club; 2nd place to the Junior Class; 3rd place to Gabriel Motor Company; and i th place to the Pep Club. Homecoming Game
