Future Homemakers Sarah Washburn — Secretary, Maree McCznts — Treasurer, Vicki Horner — First Vice President, Susan Shull — President, Denise Henkel — Recording Secretary, Angie Tiddy — Historian, Adelyn Lutz — Second Vice President, Kathy Wood — Reporter. The group of girls known as the Future Homemakers of America is preparing for fine living. FHA members share ideas on recipes, patterns, and parties. Shelby High’s FHA provides refreshments for the press box at all home football games and serves as hostess to many school functions. The highlight for the members is the district rally where girls from many schools gather for a day of fun and learning.

They backpack to South Mountain and similar places and develop clean-up projects for the more polluted areas they find.
