History is made and studied at Shelby High To understand events of the present world, one must have a knowledge of the past. This knowledge is taught at each grade level. Do-it-yourself prevails at Shelby High Watch your fingers, boys! Freshman and sophomore boys inter- ested in manual arts have an ample op- portunity to further their special skills. A shop with modern machinery, in addi- tion to a qualified teacher, creates both enjoyable and informative class sessions. The projects that the class members pro- duce are very beautiful and useful in their homes. Oops! Missed a stitch. All girls appreciate the helpfulness of the home economics department. First, second, and third year home economics are offered as elective courses. CSewing is taught one semester and foods, the other semester.J Mrs. Gregory joined the department as a first year home economics teacher. Now you're cooking on the front burner'
