HTN © 00 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from em- bracing; A time to get, jand a .fime to’ lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak; A time to love, anda time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

As the morning sun slowly climbs over the dew moistened treetops, one suddenly awakens with the joyous feeling that a new adventure is about to begin -- one which will perhaps surpass anything that has gone before. Hurriedly breakfast is eaten, and frantically one dashes off to school, barely arriving before the sounding of the eight-forty bell. Slowly the morning hours drag along. Has the clock stopped? Third period-an eternity -- finally ends. A rush is made for the lunchroom; nevertheless ten precious minutes are lost by standing in line. The clock has surely stopped. How the afternoon hours plod along. At three forty-five with a feeling of relief one rushes homeward. Supper is hastily gulped down, but there are still five minutes to go before the date with that special girl. After a movie a valuable hour is thrown away in careening around the country in Dad's old jalopy. At midnight one finally tumbles into bed and soon is lost in slumber. Only the persistent ticking of the clock on the dresser accompanies the gentle sound of deep and peaceful breathing. But wait! Something is wrong!
